The JSerra Boys Golf team picked up its first victory of the season last Tuesday, as the Lions defeated the Capistrano Valley Cougars 193-197 in a nonleague match at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course in Mission Viejo.

The Lions are now 1-2 on the season.

Senior Finn Yeomans was the medalist on the day for JSerra, shooting a score of 37.
