The JSerra Boys Basketball team is officially bound for the postseason.

The CIF-SS released its’ 2024-2025 Boys Basketball playoff brackets on Saturday and the Lions earned selection into the Open Division as the No. 8 seed.

The Open Division playoffs feature 10 teams divided into two pools.

Each team will face the other four teams in the pool, with the pool winners advancing to the Open Division Championship Game.

The top four teams in each pool will receive automatic qualification into the CIF State Regional Playoffs.

The Lions, who posted an overall record of 21-7, will be in Pool A and open on the road on Wednesday against Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks.

The Knights finished with an overall record of 22-6.

JSerra will then take on Trinity League rival Santa Margarita on Friday at Santa Margarita High School.

The Lions will finish out Pool A play with a road game against top-seeded Harvard-Westlake on Tuesday, February 18th before hosting La Mirada on Tuesday, February 25th at JSerra Catholic High School.

All games are currently scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
