Sophomore Katherine Nowak and junior Catherine Beadles of the JSerra Girls Volleyball team were honored amongst their county peers for their standout efforts this past fall by being selected to the Orange County Register’s 2024 All-County Team.

Nowak was selected to the Register’s All-County Second Team.

She set a new single-season school record with 368 kills (besting the previous single-season record of 355 set by former standout Caroline Kennedy in 2017).

She also led the team in aces (57), digs (357), and serve receive attempts (460), while recording 30 blocks.

Beadles was selected to the All-County Third Team.

She produced a team-high 663 assists, while finishing second on the team behind Nowak with 45 aces.

The duo helped the Lions advance to the second round of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs and finish with a 21-13 overall record.
