The JSerra Ice Hockey team battled Bishop Amat down to the wire before suffering a 4-3 loss on Monday night in a ADHSHL game at The Honda Center in Anaheim.

Sophomore Griffin Blake scored his team-leading 26th goal of the season at the 11:12 mark of the first period to put JSerra ahead 1-0.

The Lancers responded with a first period goal and two power play goals in the second period to take a 3-1 lead.

Freshman Duncan Torre tallied his ninth goal of the season (assisted by sophomore Paul Franklin) to cut the deficit to 3-2 with 5:54 remaining.

The Lancers added an insurance empty net goal with 54 seconds remaining.

Junior Cassius Millett added the game’s final goal with 36 seconds left, assisted by Blake and Franklin.
