The JSerra Boys Soccer team will look to continue its’ magical undefeated run in the postseason as the top overall seed in the CIF Southern Section.

The CIF-SS released its’ 2024-2025 Boys Soccer playoff brackets on Saturday and the Trinity League champion Lions earned the No. 1 seed in the Open Division.

The Open Division Playoffs feature a “Champions League” style format, in which two teams play each other for two consecutive rounds leading up to the championship match.

Cumulative scoring from both games will be used to determine the team that advances from the second round into the quarterfinals round.

The lower seed hosts the first match with the higher seed playing host in the second match.

JSerra, which finished the season with a 13-0 overall record, will be on the road Thursday to take on eighth seeded Arlington High School of Riverside.

Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.

JSerra will then host Arlington in a second-round match on Saturday, February 15th at JSerra Catholic High School.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Arlington, which advanced to the Open Division championship match last year, was the Ivy League champion this season with a 10-0 league mark and posted an overall record of 17-1-2.
