Grant Stephens




2024-25 - Softball Junior Varsity - Team Personnel


Coach Stephens graduated from Villa Park High School in 1989 and went on to play baseball at Cal Poly Pomona from 1990-1993 under legendary coach John Scolinos.

After completing his playing career, Coach Stephens made coaching stops at Cal Poly Pomona and Allan Hancock College Santa Maria Campus, while attending Allan Hancock Fire Academy.

Coach Stephens was hired by the Kern County Fire Department in 1997, and in 1999, he moved to the Burbank Fire Department where he currently holds the rank of Captain.

He is also an instructor at Santa Ana College Fire Academy teaching hose, ladders, and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).

Over the past decade, Coach Stephens has coached youth and travel softball with several organizations.

Coach Stephens is returning for a second season and will take on a bigger role overseeing the JV team.

Coach Stephens currently resides in San Clemente with his wife Tracy, daughters Brooke (Junior) and Hailey (Freshman), and son Grant (5).
