2024-25 - Softball - Assistant Coach

Coach Snyder has played softball since age 5 and was a member of the Mission Viejo Girls Softball League.  She played club softball for the Batbusters Organization from age 12-18. Notably, Coach Snyder led her 16u Batbusters team to a USSSA National Championship and was named Most Valuable Player.

Coach Snyder played high school softball locally at Mission Viejo High School, where she experienced tremendous team success.  She was a member of CIF Division 2 Championship teams in 2014 and 2016.  In both years, Mission Viejo was named the National High School Champion by multiple publications.  In 2015, Mission Viejo was the #1 team in the country throughout an undefeated season until they lost in the championship game to Yucaipa High.

Coach Snyder was a first team all-CIF selection and was named first team all-Orange County by the Orange County Register in both 2016 and 2017.  She was a four time all-South Coast League selection and was the league’s co-MVP during her senior year.  She was also first team all-state as a junior and second team all-state as a senior as a utility player.

Coach Snyder graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Psychology in 2022.  She played first base and designated player for Beach for three seasons, helping the team win the Big West Championship in 2021 and playing in the UCLA Regional in the NCAA Tournament.

She transferred to Long Beach State from the University of Louisville, where she played her first two years of collegiate softball. She pitched 35 innings and started almost every game at first base in her time at Louisville, helping lead the Cardinal to the NCAA Tournament in 2019, where they lost to Northwestern in the Northwestern Regional final.

Coach Snyder is in her third year of coaching at JSerra and also gives private lessons. Coach Snyder loves connecting with the athletes and showing them how softball prepares you for life. She has been an asset to the program with her dedication, hard work, knowledge of the game (especially with pitching) and her ability to connect with the athletes.
