The JSerra Girls Soccer team was victorious in its’ final tune-up before the start of Trinity League action next week, as the Lions defeated the San Marcos Knights 3-1 in a nonleague match at San Marcos High.

JSerra extended its streak of strong play with five wins in their last six matches and improved to 9-4-1 on the season.

Sophomore G.G. Szczuka tallied the lone goal of the first half on a corner kick from senior Sydney Schuler.

Sophomores Bria Johnson and Chloe Loya each added a goal in the second half to help the Lions seal the victory.

JSerra will now turn its’ attention toward the Trinity League, as the Lions travel to Orange Lutheran on Tuesday for a match against the Lancers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
